Dissemination

The project communication, its objectives and impacts to different audiences in order to engage them in the SIRMA innovation ecosystem, will be ensured.

It comprises outreach activities addressing the public in general, stakeholders, European Research Area, EC and other public authorities. Collaboration and clustering among different initiatives will allow to take profit from the common efforts, whilst the project information and results are spread wider, and win-win situations are created.
In this sections all dissemination activities regarding SIRMA will be published.

SIRMA
Strengthening infrastructure risk management in the Atlantic Area

SIRMA project aims to develop a robust framework for the management and mitigation of such risks, by implementing immediate, medium and long-term measures, thus increasing the resilience of transportation infrastructure. Most of the transportation of people and goods in Atlantic Area is made through rail and road. The performance of this infrastructure is directly affected by extreme natural events and by the strong corrosion processes that result from proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
